Maiden flight of my scratch built Clancy Aviation Lazy Bee. Breezy day with 10-15mph winds. Scorpion SII-3008 V2 motor with a 10X5 prop and an all up weight of 27.8oz makes for some fast vertical climbs. Big Trexler #11 wheels. Covered in AeroLITE. Spektrum AR500 with hitec HS-55 servos.

  • The motor is a Scorpion SII-3008 V2 and a 10 X 5 prop. Master Airscrew I think. This is way more power than the plane needs, but it is still light as could be with an all up weight of 27.8 oz. Going vertical with a Lazy Bee is fun too :-)

  • The build and pics are in the Lazy Bee plans thread on RC groups. I post there as phillipduran.
