I'm a DTV tech, just because this "tech" installed your system this way, does not mean we all would do the same. The proper way to run the lines in that scenario is have them enter low to the ground, sealed with weather sealant, once entering the house they run underneath the carpet/baseboard therefore being hidden, two split to the first dvr and the other two continue to the other room. When needing to come above carpet, they should be ran clean and be exposed as little as possible.

lmfao...i am a lead diagnostic for DTV and if i had to inspect this guys work,i woulda beat him with his own tools....WOW, the double wire deal was cuz he prob only had one bit or was two lazy to get the right size outta the van. Man, im sorry that had to happen to you, i couldnt stop laughing. 150% would not pass any type of inspection....honestly, how would u even diagnose that wen and i say WHEN it fails!!!! lmfao, if ur still with them, please feel free to hit me up on any questions! so sad

Pour some salt on that wound, Direct TV!! - As Joplin victims call Direct TV to cancel their service due to homes completely wip...ed off the map, they are being told to send in a box or remote control or pay a fine of $500+ to cancel service. DirectTV should be boycotted. Tell their employees to go to these former HOMES and find their remote controls... RE-POST TO GET THIS TO GO VIRAL !!!!!!This is INEXCUSABLE

That is a shitty job, but you have to realize: Most tech's are under paid and over worked. I usually work 14 hours a day. I have one day off and usually end up getting called in that day anyways. They over schedule you and make you work as fast as you can, but then they yell at you for working to fast. The bosses constantly yell at you for the stupidest sh*t, they constantly yell at you for doing something they told you to do. And 80% of trouble calls are just stupid people being stupid.
