How to mount an altimeter into a model rocket. There are many good rockets that can be used for science fair projects, but often the payload bay is too short for the altimeter. In this video, you'll see how to modify the rocket to make the altimeter fit.

  • I'm working on building an altimeter with a barometric pressure sensor, but I wonder, doesn't the flight of the rocket cause pressure variations that screw up the readings? I see you've drilled holes to allow equalization... is this really all you need to get a decent reading out of these things?
