That's right, guys coming back from WWII taking old military surplus Harleys and Indians, and chopping the fenders.
And it don't get more Military Surplus than a 741 Scout.

Burt Munro rode a 1921 Indian Scout, I think. Make the parts yourself and it could go 200mph.
