@Mrbeanutube Amen brother, can't understand why a glock 21 with ballistics well short of a 30-06 are illegal to fire at a private range (backyard) where I'm from. Registration is BS, The way we deal with restricted firearms is BS and us not having full auto's are BS. I've gone through police foundations (being taught by retired Windsor police officers in Ontario) stabbings are more prevalent than gunshot wounds. LETS BAN KNIVES! *Rolls eyes* LOL
@firstligmo you are totally ignorant to the fact that firearms are not made have the soul purpose to kill people, im a legel gun owner and have never shot anyone or even though about it, think before you speak.
dont like that you compare with knifes. Knifes is a known tool for many uses. Guns are made to kill and hurt people thats their purpose. But people should have the right to own guns, after criminal checks and such things. And also often there is no such a thing as good and bad guys. Its just different moral and circumstances. I bet that if I fucked you´re wife you would like to kill me. Does that makes you a BAD guy??
Citizens should be allowed ONLY to carry handguns ONLY FOR PROTECTION......AGAIN, DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD CARRY A RIFLE ON THE STREETS OF TORONTO OR SOMEWHERE CAUSE I AM SURE 100% people will use them for street fight and road battles which will really prove much more dangerous as gangs will mug people easily!!!
Of course North Koreans have rights that are being violated. Fundamental human rights are assured by international law, such as in the UN Charter for example. My point was that rights must have a legal basis in order to have any meaning. The so-called right to guns in Canada is meaningless because the state doesn't recognize it and is under no obligation to grant it. In the US this right is assured by the Constitution, which makes it like a contract the state must honour.
call your MP let them know you want the right to carry. make it and election issue .

@kosherporkface
So North Koreans human rights are not being violated then because the state has no "legislative" protection for them ?
