pennington did jack-shit w/the jets?? dude he got us the division title in his 1st year as a starter, when he was hurt in 2003 they won 1 game without him. in 2004 they would have beat the steelers at pitt if doug brien didnt miss 2 short FG's and they lost in OT. they sucked in 2005 w/out him. in 2006, he was comeback player of the year and in only a few seasons has the franchise record for most playoff starts. all this from a guy who has had one 1/2 way decent WR in his career - midget coles

If Pennington stayed healthy throughout his career he could have easily went down as one of the best QB's of all time.

Man i miss him and loved chad!!!!!

@crs5617 The reason he has no velocity in his arm is because of three different shoulder surgeries. But before he got injured he had an average to above average arm strength. But his accuracy is impeccable. He has a great touch on the ball. It really makes you wonder that if he had never gotten injured, would we be talking top five QBs today.

I love how people come on here and talk smack about Chad. You guys know nothing. Im a die hard Jets fan and I miss him dearly. The only day I was happy when the Jets lost, was the day Chad came into the meadowlands and whipped Brett Favre's ass.
ya dude chad is good, can throw like 11 yards, no biggy

Just cuz you can throw 75 yards doesn't make you an elite NFL QB... Look at Jamarcus Russell. Chad puts the ball where it needs to be and its no coincidence that he has the highest completion percentage in NFL history.
