  • I agree with bucklehead, flux cored wire would be too much, bare wire though would be fine

  • i think flux core would be to hot a welding process for the wall thickness of the tubes you would be using for a buggy.

    looks like popeye uses 3mm wall thickness pipe,i could be wrong tho,u could use thicker pipe but it would make the buggy heavier.

    my opinion anyways

  • Great work! You think a kite buggy like this can be built with a wire-feed flux core welder? Maybe not with stainless but maybe with chromemoly or mild steel?
