Beth-Center Sports Night. A school tradition that is almost as old as the school district itself. The time of year when, for one week, hundreds of BCHS students sign up for and practice various dances and skits to perform on Friday night. This is truely the one event of the year that sets BC apart from the other schools.

This particular dance has long been the opener for the event. Following the commands of Robert Preston as he sings the tune "Go You Chickenfat Go" we do various excerises, but with usually with our own added taste of humor into it.

  • Thank you so so very much for this time machine (actually it me feel very eerie). Nuts to the flabby guys!

  • Great post.

Fun watching kids today exercising to this song that played as the "warm-up" to Phys-Ed" back in the early 60s when I was in elementary school.

Should be required as a daily workout in ALL public schools.

  • I noticed the young people are all trim and fit looking!

  • I loved watching this. Frank Fallot of Ridgeway School in White Plains, NY had me doing this. He used to call me Cinderella. He probably couldn't remember my name, but still, I didn't figure that out back then, and he made me feel special.

  • We had this in elementary school in the early 60's.

  • I found this song about ten years ago (we were never subjected to it in gym class, but had to do MUCH worse (and more embarassing) things! I've been using this as a fun morning warm-up for myself and my kids since then, and we have a riot. I'm 50, and I attribute being able to keep up with the kids - and now grandkids - to starting my day off with this routine to get the laughter up and the blood pumping!

  • Fort Middle School!! Rules it's the best middle school in the world!!'
