A.1John 1;8-10 doesn't sound like a win/win option to you? Think about it, all you have to do is TRUST God & NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU HAVE OR WILL SCREW UP(& we all have & will)HE'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU & GIVE YOU NOTHING BUT GOOD.

B.Romans 3; 23 doesn't sound egalitarian to you? See the context.

But jealousy & envy/vanity are not the same thing. Example;

Does not a spouce have the right to be jealous about their partner in regard to others?

Does not a parent have the right to expect their child to regard them & no other parent as theirs?

Does not a nation have the right to expect it's citizens to be loyal to no other nation?

Why should YHWH not expect His creation to be ultimately devoted to Him & Him alone?

@a1saouse zeus-& every other pagan god-according to their devoties;

They were fickle, nuisences who didn't create the universe, saw human beings as only a means for kicks, & couldn't even control their own labidoes, let alone the universe.

Beyond that, they weren't allknowing, allpowerful, or everywhere at once.

@EmetTalmudim6 A good question to ask yourself is, if your going to apply your beliefs in a god, why not Zeus... legend has it, he is god, of gods ... your god is merely a jealous one that = Vanity. Please explain?

2.God isn't into isms but RELATIONSHIP; But even the best relationships have terms & rules.

3.Catholicism is a denomination not a separate "religion"

4."The UK is a Church state"; By who's standard their's or God's?

@EmetTalmudim6 You are not aware that the u.k is a church state, in America if we want to give charity we can-in England the charity given to the church is mandatory just like our taxes are mandatory their charity to the church is mandatory &so is their taxes of coarse.another thing if you live in england and are from a different religion thats o.k but you still have to pay your charity to the head church.All because King Richard thought he was crowned by god.Whats the solution?

@EmetTalmudim6 where did you find out about god... the bible? the bible has been edited by ism. Christians and catholics take &add words as they please from the bible.try reading the preface of the bible you will find many controversies from different years.another thing find out for yourself why todays bible kjv is different than the bible from the 1940's &the 1940's is different than any earlier one.

1.& Elvis thought he was a gov. agent with authority to pull people over, but actually he wasn't & had no such authority; the latter-the constitutional hence the government definition-was all that mattered. It's the same with God & the Church; Only His definitions of what the Church is & its function matter

2.The Church's function is to carry out what it was designed to; It's not my job to fix it, but to let Him & He'll do so when its time, not before, if I let Him.

@EmetTalmudim6 you are aware: what you know about god comes from the British monarch "christians" along with what the Vatican's catechism teaches(these two go hand &hand) you are also aware that if you decide to know about god from any other ism you would surely die &not because it was "gods will" -but because it was his "children will" please dont write back saying this is not gods will"so its wrong" i know its wrong &its been going on for years &America is adopting this ism.
