This version of "Minor Swing" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, Aug. 21st. 2007 by the Ralph Allin Quartet.
Ralph came to the rescue when the band originally booked for this session had to cancel only 4 days before the gig. The quartet consists of Ralph on violin, Jadie Carey on bass, Glen Taylor on piano and Steve Street on drums.
These superb young musicians play the music of Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt and their own interpretation of many standards, including Irish jigs and gypsy music!
An Irish Jig/Hornpipe will be added to YouTube soon.
Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John or Marie Howell on 01902 756158
