THIS SONG WAS WRITTEN IN 89. SEPTEMBER 11 HAPPENED IN 2001. THIS WAS WRITTEN WAY BEFORE THE WORLD TRADE CENTER 9/11. IT IS CLEAR THAT SOME OF YOU DID NOT EVEN LISTEN TO THE WORDS. HE IS CLEARLY TALKING ABOUT 911 AS IN THE AMBULANCE AND POLICE NOT COMING AS PROFOUNDLYSO EXPLAINED.
WITH THAT BEING SAID 911 MAY BE A JOKE BUT PUBLIC ENEMY DEF ISN'T. I LOVE THEIR MUSIC!!

@profoundlyso dude, I ain´t even a US citizen, I´m brazilian... but I totally agree with ya... some dumb fucks just can´t get it can they? they don´t get the message, and even worse... make stupid associations (hate this shit) with 9/11... just the kind of idiot that look 4 subliminar messages in the songs... just so ignorants they r... this song is all abt being left aside by the government... it´s just the same here in Brasil. For all the people saying this song is about 9/11. It's NOT. It's about dialing 911 on your phone and the police or paramedics not showing up on time or too late. Man SOME PEOPLE CAN BE REALLY STUPID!!!
