These tiki head ice sculptures are on fire at an event in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Propane fueled flames are combined with Polynesian style ice sculptures to create a truly unique event presentation.

The ice sculptures are by ice dragon ice sculptures while the pyrotechnics were handled by AFX. The event took place in the high-ceilinged atrium at the Belle of Baton Rouge. The background music is by Kevin MacLeod at incompetech.com. Visit www.icecarvingsecrets.com for more about the art of ice sculpture. Video presentation © 2010 Dawson List

  • What alcohol do you use? Rubbing alcohol? Does it matter?

  • @ceidoiceman1 alcohol can burn without heating the object itelf up at all, mainly because it's mostly alcohol vapour burning

  • HOW DID YOU MAKE THE FIRE GO THROUGH THE ICE SCULPTURE WITHOUT IT MELTING? How many blocks did you use?
