Nicklas Kronwall of the Detroit Red Wings leaves his feet and elbows Anaheim Ducks' Ryan Carter in the face. Carter received a few cuts to his face as a result of the hit. Kronwall did not receive a penalty on the play, yet Mike Brown of the Ducks was kicked out of the same game for a legal check on Juri Hudler.

  • pay back for the pussy browns hit

  • The difference is the puck is present in the hit on Carter, it is not in the hit on Hudler. Anyone who has played the game knows hits like Brown's hit on Hudler present themselves, and are ONLY used in cases of retaliation or sending a message. Carter is expecting a hit, Hudler was not. It was a cheap shot and the refs got it right.

  • @ddenman76 just because its a retaliation doesn't mean he shouldn't get a penalty. Especially a charging elbow aka a horizontal elbow based flying dutchman

  • You know what refs miss calls sometimes. Its not like Kronwall flew five feet in the air to hit him. Hes only like 2 inches off the ice. Still should have been called but I think the difference between the hits is the viciousness in Browns hit. Browns hit WAS intent to injure. He knew Hudlers head was down and the puck was not there. Under the blind side hit rule (I know wasnt in place at the time) it would have been a suspension.

  • @tilth01 The NHL doesn't want Detroit in the playoffs anymore.

  • There was ONE, goal not given. ONE.

And missed calls, like the fucking one in this video? Jesus, is every one in Detroit as stupid as Dead Wings Fans?

And the Ref lost sight of the puck, so it wasn't a goal to begin with. Nice try though. And its not like you would have won the game with that goal, you would have TIED it. That doesn't mean you would have won the game.

Oh and Anaheim beat Detroit in Six in the WCF.

Not to mention the fluke goal that Detroit won on in game 7.

  • redwings/ducks dont matter...not as long as bettman has his way and the refs keep buying into his system! this years cup will be either redwings or chicago in the west vs. pitts. or capitals in the east. WHY?? because it will generate the most money for the nhl and the owners... anyone who has played or really knows hockey can see that the games are dictated by the refs...no question.

  • You're right, I don't know shit. I've only played, reffed, and coached hockey for over 20 years. Not to mention watching hockey for over 30. Zetterberg is a clean player, but I was referring to him covering the puck in the crease with no call in the finals, TWICE.

  • you are fucking stupid, thats why you guys lost last year.

  • You're a fucking retard. The Wings are probably in the top three cleanest teams in the league, especially all their top guys. Bettman fucking hates them and they still consistently have the least penalty minutes in the regular season.

  • Clearly, you don't know shit about hockey. Anyone who knows dick knows that Zetterberg is one of the cleanest players in the league. I'm not even a fucking wings fan and I know that.

  • thats called hockey...if you don't like it then fuck off
