In early May 2011, two Mockingbirds set up a nest in a hanging plant basket in front of my house. It was soon filled with four beautiful blue eggs. This video chronicles the progress of the baby birds as they evolve from hatchlings to fledglings. One of the babies is reluctant to leave the nest along with his siblings, and he spends two days "learning to fly" before finally taking the plunge.
