Jesus is a form of God (Philippians 2:6), God is in Him and He is in God (John 17:21) and He existed even before this world was created. (in Jesus' Prayer before he was killed - "And now Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed" John 17:5)

1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, [who] was (of ) that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. Jesus spoke of the good seed (of God ) and the weed seed (of the Serpent). I believe that to be people.

Who is the seed of Cain (he is said to be of th evil one). So all seed are good seed ? All seed started off good seed? Some are the children or seed by faith.
Romans 8:3 describes Jesus as being sent "in the likeness of sinful flesh." but we know that He did not have sinful flesh like the rest of humanity, due to the fact that HE was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and that without measure, being the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form. Jesse presents are very convincing defense of Finneys philisophical system of theology, but it begs the question and ignores an overwhelming body of evidence that speaks to the weakness of mankind without the rebirth

The Bible says, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowed with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man… For as much than as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same: that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil….

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren…” (Heb. 2:9, 14, 16-17).

• Jesus was made in all things like us.
• Jesus was not made sinful.
• Therefore, we are not made sinful.
• Jesus was made a partaker of flesh and blood.
• Jesus was entirely sinless.
• Therefore, flesh and blood are not sinful.
• Jesus had the same type of flesh that we have.
• Jesus was not sinful in anyway.
• Therefore, our flesh is not sinful.

If Jesus was made “in all things” like we are made, we can conclude that he “took part of” the same type of physical substance that we took part of. In this way Jesus made “in the likeness of sinful flesh” (Rom. 8:3), which doesn’t mean that physical flesh is sinful, but means that Jesus was “made in the likeness of men” (Php. 2:7). The word “flesh” is sometimes used synonymous with men (Gen. 6:12; Matt. 16:17; Gal. 1:16).

Re: Son of God, Son of Man. Am I wrong in assuming the title "Son of Man" is in reference to Jesus' human parent Mary and hence identifying Him as true flesh and blood? Excellent topic. Thanks.

@RobertMOdell that's correct. Jesus was the Son of God and the Son of Man. Through his human parent Mary, who was a descendant of Adam, Jesus inherited His humanity.
