May 06 2009. Greg Amadio and Steve Pinizzotto execute what appears to be a set play with the intent to cause injury to Paul Bissonnette of the WBS Penguins. The check occured, but it appears that Pinizzotto accidentally steps on Bissonnette's wrist slicing it open and nicking an artery, requiring medical attention.
Latest update is that Paul is doing well.
Best wishes to Paul on a speedy recovery
all hockey hits are not dirty
this was pre-planned with the intent to injure bizznasty. they may have not meant to slice his wrist open but you cant pull a stunt like that and claim you did not intend to injure him
fucked up

On purpose, cleverly set up in order to not get caught. Poor Biss'll be lucky to grasp a hockey stick in 4 months because of those moron Bears.

I saw Paul walking around GIANT Center on Sunday, his wrist all taped up obviously. He's looking good and was in high spirits. Whether the hit was dirty or not, I doubt Greg or Steve had an intention to slice open his wrist and end his season.
I wish him a quick recovery though :)

He was cut real bad. Flew into pittsburgh to get checked out so they could make sure there isn't any nerve damage.
Looked like one guy took his legs out and the other let him have it. That's dirty.

Yeah that was horrible. I was wondering if anyone had another view of this. According to the WBS PENS facebook page he is doing okay and they will update his status in the morning.
