@xOhLookItsAMYx I remeber when he would always win the Pweople's Choice Awards EVERY YEAR he was nominated for best male tv actor. I will always associate the People's Choice with Alan Alda.

His autobiography is amazing. To think that one of the most famous characters of all time had difficulty getting roles! Gives me hope that someday I might be able to make it, too.

@coolstuff4youanytime You sure you've got the right person here?

@litwriter100 You really think the show wasn't authentic because the characters didn't smoke cigarettes? How bizarre. So you would rather they got lung cancer in order to be accurate? I'm sure there are many minor details in the show that didn't pertain to the message and general atmosphere of those times, but that's not what was important. And Frank Burns and Hot Lips hardly gave a left wing slant. So there were both perspectives.

@long263 that movie was sooo good i loved it
I'm 12 years old and I've been watching this show for almost 3 years and I am convinced that MASH is the BEST SHOW EVER MADE. All the characters reflect a different aspect of human nature, they all have strong and weak sides. This show is incredible and is brilliant, witty, sad, wonderful, and realistic yet not depressing. It's such a shame that shows like this are sooooo rare i have never seen one like MASH.
