Are you guys aware that healthcare works in Canada...Yes we pay 7-8% more taxes but hey when shit hits the fans and your not prepared/covered... Thats what brings down less fortunate families to crumbles. The problem in the US is that their losing theire mid class families to low class incomes, and of coarse off that a few other people get even richer off those going down. So many Americans have so much money they couldnt even spend it all till their end of days.

If you really want opinions that haven't been bought or strong-armed within the healthcare community, talk to any physician you meet. I'm not talking about physician groups like the AMA, which is mostly controlled by lawyers. I'm talking about real doctors. Easily 7 out of 10 of them are strongly opposed to any form of Obmacare or even further government intervention into their industry. In fact, 45% of them have stated that they would consider quitting the profession if the current bill passes.

How much companies within the healthcare industry oppose or defend Obamacare depends on how much in kickbacks the current administration and certain congressmen on both sides have promised to award them after the fact for their actions. Anyone who tells you that all such companies are bought and paid for by Republicans, and that they're all against socialized medicine, is lying to your face. Either that, or they just don't know what they're talking about. Just look up "Obama And Big Pharma."

One thing I already know about people who engage in cheap-shot innuendo and character assassination instead of actually arguing the salient points of a debate, is that they are cowards. If you had anything of substance to argue here, you'd have done so. Instead, you insinuate that because McConnell accepts money from Humana, that must be the reason why he opposes government-run healthcare. It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the legislation is a monstrous, freedom-destroying sham!
