Defining Content Tags (different than Block Placement Tags) and Meta Tag Keywords/Descriptions.

Content Tags can help us with the internal site search by providing more detailed information for refining search results. Note the "dentistry" tag that was showing up in the demo search was a database glitch that has been fixed.

Expand the Meta Tags tab to see both a description and keywords field. The description is most likely to help with search engine optimization, and we recommend approximately 160 characters (including spaces) that summarize your page and emphasize key words or phrases.

The keywords field itself, however, has been devalued by search engines because the system was abused by sites that used popular search terms that were irrelevant to their sites. Google and all other major search companies have acknowledged this publicly.

It certainly won't hurt you to input keywords, but by all accounts, they will have no impact on your search rankings.
