I work at a minor league stadium, and we have a tarp. Rolling up a tarp that big takes time. You have to make 100% sure it is exactly on the black tube flush, or else the cover will not fit over it. It makes it ten times harder if the tarp is wet. So, if it takes them time, it's not because they don't know how to do it, it's because they are perfecting it. Also, not all those guys are grounds crew. They are extra staff who can help with tarp. The 3-4people on the ends are the real grounds crew.

those guys sucked at rolling that big blue tarp back up, haha. we were in left field pavillion, and it took them two or three different tries to roll it back up correctly, haha.
