Jingle Bell Rock - Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass

The Christmas hit song, written by James Carleton Beal and James Ross Boothe and made famous by Bobby Helms in 1957, is given the Herb Alpert treatment. It's taken from the double LP, "Merry Christmas Darling" which contains twenty tracks from A&M recording artists including Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, Sergio Mendez & Brazil '66 and the Carpenters, who perform the title track.

It is played here on the National Stereo Super-Phonic player.

Love this from Herb. There was always something a bit cheeky about Mr. Alpert's up-tempo stuff, and this track is a perfect example - especially the end bit. Even better on this great National unit. Thanks for sharing Neil.

This is nice,i don't know where you get all these old players from,hey i don't like this new look to the youtube channesls but if you click the edit channel button you can still go back to your old wall,i just thought you might like to know as a lot of people have been tricked into this new look. Thanks for the advice about the Youtube Channel, I noticed it had changed without my knowledge - I'll try changing it back to how it was before.
