although i agree it is sending a message that marriage is not necessary! you also have to be aware that the idea that you have to get married is also an idea that is enforced against us from our culture. marriage is something religion tells you that you need to do! and what your mum and dad were told to do and their parents and their parents parents and so on!. if anything that scene points out the fact that 50% of marriages end it divorce

Tcha! Try "Two and half men"... That show is so degrading to women! And "How i met your mother"- Barney's up to what 250 women now? How come he doesn't have aids yet? And almost every alcoholic beverage has a woman ½ naked on their add. Just turn on MTV, all you'll see is sex, Lady gaga (love her but "Alejandro" is very sexual!) and my 10 year old nieces watch MTV and are gonna think it's normal to act that way and dance like a stripper! I am disgusted!
