  • this game is better than battlefield 3 hahah lol :P

  • Used to play this game until my eyes bled! Classic MS-DOS game!!

  • I have noticed that it is a bit easier to play Planet Strike on higher difficulties because enemy hit points don't get boosted so much. In Aliens of Gold, it takes tons of ammo to bring down a single mutant, and that's why I usually avoid the "Veteran" skill level.

  • @bat7j Worse yet, I sure respect id for the engines and technical advancements they made, but the gameplay of most id games is kinda rudimentary, as John Carmack was always in a hurry to release new games and that resulted in him not hearing his designers and that cost id lots of its famous people. Only by the time of Quake 3 id started to make gameplay a bit more complex. id sure makes the best engines, but not the best games with them.

  • @bat7j lol "Wolf 3D is to BS:PS the same way as BS:PS is to Quake" and then you call BS shit, therefore you call Wolf 3D shit compared to BC. You phail. Cool atmosphere ? Highly subjective, non textured floor and ceilings made the scenery look kinda dull... And the enemies in wolf 3D look more like Postmen than real enemy soldiers (Luckily, SoD Super CD fixed this). So quit the fanboyish faggy-like desperation to attack BS with baseless arguments.

  • The hand bobbing looks like he's slowly jacking off...

  • @YRAntiNoob Wolf3D was released 1.75 years before blake stone and 2.5 years before BS:PS, so it was awesome for its time, and had cool atmosphere which this does not. Also, because Wolf is 2.5 years older, Wolf3D is to BS:PS the same way as BS:PS is to Quake... and we both know you cannot compare this sh* to Quake ;)

  • @bat7j Face it, Quake was far from being done back then. Veeery far. So, you still need to get your facts straight. And plus, if you think BS is crappy, you'd have to think that Wolf3D is also crappy.

  • @YRAntiNoob The straight facts are: (A) Doom 1 was released apprx 9 months BEFORE this installment of Blake Stone and exactly 1 week after the first Blake Stoned; (B) Doom 2 was released 18 days before the BS:PlanetStrike (although appropriate for this case, BS here is NOT bullshit); (C) Both Doom 1 and 2 were f*** awesome, and (D) this is one of the crappiest games I have ever seen. The only truly good thing that was developed by Apogee was DukeNukem 3D. Commander Keen was made by ID.

  • @XRLZ Indeed "Veteran" mode is kinda brutal on Blake Stone games... A lot harder than "I'm Death Incarnate" from Wolf3D
