i got a cockatiel and i dont know if its a boy or girl.

This video doesn't help me but it helped my friend who found out there bird was a male.

My bird is fully grey white patches on its wing and a sort of checked tail.

So my birds name is Smoki and Smoki puts its head down and you stroke its back and it makes a chirping sound. This suddenly changed my mind is so please can you help me tell if my bird is a girl or boy

@Thezezo1999 how old is smoki if she is atlest 1yer. it will lay an egg 1 a month if it is happy i think it a girl look onder its tall if it has stripe like markings its female if not its male

@moonflowerH20 there r a lot of ways to tell if yer cockatiel is male or female that is one of them i have breed 32 cockatiels this way and im only 12 so if the video did not make sens sory

Not True!! The Way You Could Tell if Its Male Or Female Is By Running Your Finger On The Bottom part Of its body and youll feel 2 lil bones if they are together its a boy if they are seperate its a girl :)

i'm sorry this is not accurate at all, pied are impossible to tell, you go by barring on femailes tails on regular grays and white faced pearls, lutino's you have to get dna testing done also.
