  • Hopefully, this comment will post.

Carole and I were classmates and friends in 5th grade at Tapley Elementary School. She was shy then. She would always turn her back to the class before she sang. Her favorite song to sing was Andy Willam's-Moon River. Even at such a young age she had a powerful voice. We saw each other again during our high school years. She was a kind soul, a wonderful person.

It's wonderful to see her videos and be able to hear her voice again. Thank you.

I've often used your comment in school presentations about Carole. Her musical legacy continues on two websites in the U.S. Hope all is well with you. Have a wonderful Holiday and a joyous New Year.

  • @CFMsoeur

Thank you for your kind words.

Our teacher, Mr. Orlandi, would coax her to sing. In fact, when he became engaged that year, the class had a surprise party for him. Your sister led the class in singing, "Going to the Chapel" to him.

I am truly sorry she is no longer on this Earth to grace us with her presence, and her beautiful voice.

By the way, my name is Connie also.

I wish you and your family a wonderful and healthy New Year as well.

  • @fitchick788 JJGoldman's Facebook page that features our foundation website as well. Thank you for sharing your anecdotes about Carole th me. I love it! She knew what she wanted out of life at a very early age.Yes, she is my sister but as I explore her life I am in awe of her. She accomplished so much in 49 short years.

    Do you live in Spfld?

  • I am a big fan of Carole Fredericks from France, my dream was to see her in concert but i never (i arrived in France in February 2001 from French West Indies). I went to her funeral with flowers i know she likes a lot. Wit your work and with all the fans in France we try her music and work will live forever....

  • Magnifique chanson. Une artiste qui manque.....

  • She sings as though its true and that makes all the difference in the world. The only difference she experiences when she sings now is that she sees Jesus. “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”

  • I miss her a lot,

her songs makes me cry because the lyrics always tell what I feel...

    RIP Carole

    thanks for this video clip

  • yeah i like this song !

  • @CFMsoeur No, I don't live in Springfield any longer.

Unfortunately, I lost contact with Carole when my family moved to a different area of Springfield after the year I met Carole. We did cross paths of a brief moment, at a bus stop, when we were in high school. I was so surprised that she remembered me. I did take a peek at one of the websites. You are so right, her accomplishments were amazing. She wasn't afraid to be herself and that probably goes back to the foundation set during childhood.

  • And a great holiday season for you as well! The one video that shows me how people loved Carole is the live concert footage of Goldman And Jones doing Juste Apres and having her appear in a recording and on the big screen behind them. The reaction of the audience members is priceless--very touching. God Bless, Brian
