Cold Steel Spartan Heavy duty Tactical Folding knife review part 1 by Tex

This is my first impression of the cold steel spartan Tactical folder. This is a very strong and wicked blade but has no gimping but it makes up for it in handle design. It is heavy and might not be the best choice for a heavy load out where something lighter would work just as well. But If you can deal with the weight you will be glad you are carrying it if God forbid you ever need it. It has EDC utility but I would not want to thrash on this knife too baddly because it is currently new and I want to keep the factory defensive edge on it.
