  • @bingturkby I've heard various folks call the tune "Sackows", although Americans universally call it "Tripping Up the Stairs" (or "Tripping Upstairs"). Never heard the third tune that I know of, under any name, although it has bits that call to mind various tunes which it's not.

    Unfortunate playing in any case. I like Savall's playing in other styles, but this sounds like he's reading the tunes off a piece of sheet music and putting in some stock early-music ornamnents. Shame.

  • I think these are in reverse order: Tripping Upstairs, Gusty's Frolics then Sackows. After the break is slowed down reel that I can't quite remember
