The story of the game evokes strong emotion as does the music. Braid is truly a master work. It is elegant in its simplicity.

This song just brings me so much nostalgia from hearing it. The middle of the piece has that sense of flying to the Heavens and then landing safely back to Earth.

The picture is off of Braid, which is an indie video game that has receive critical acclaim for its innovation and artistic vision. The game has a great deal to do with altering the flow of time, undoing past mistakes without having to suffer the consequences. The protagonist is searching for his princess; the two were once romantically involved, but he screwed up and he feels he must rescue her (an allusion to Mario Bros) .
Hence, a broken hourglass, sand spilling out, forming a sandcastle.
