Follow the money. go Green became the buzzword so the corporate world, being profit savvy, got in the parade to reap the anticipated profits. Make the product (any product or resource now) scarce then it increases in value for less investment and far less risk and work. Government taxes it's subjects to cover 'their' gambling losses so it's like going into a 'tight' Casino with someone Else's money.
