Yes cultural studies is a framework for working with art. I've worked with Angie Ang, a New York e-artist, on one of her projects. Also written a lot on Japanese artist Takashi Murakami; Writing about a piece in California called 'Banner Art'.

Great vid on the topic. Great for school, but also entertaining and interesting.

This is a very cool video. Most of the other vids on this topic are really dull, but this one is interesting and informative. Lots of good examples. I hope these guys do more in the series.
