  • I wonder how this didn't make it into Superman 2? Mind you this was probably from Richard Donner's version

  • @bigollameo @bigollameo yes well i know that, but the guy i was talking to said something about shooting "fire" out of his eye, and i was merely remarking that it's not not fire therefore people don't see it the way he was thinkig of...

  • Does the progress bar vanish when the video starts for anyone else, or is it just me?

  • No wonder I can't remember this scene. It's just too ridiculous to actually be in a Superman movie, perhaps even Superman III. They wouldn't dare actually put this in a movie? would they?

  • Clark-they...you're not-uggggghhh!

  • so in this he is that fast he gets down the botton and instead of changing out of cloths fast to his super suit he risks ppl seeing him do his heart beam vision and looking like he is watching loois fall!!! i like how they have the speed he move at in this better than smallville :D

  • i loved the Donner Cut, but i thought her jumping in Niagara Falls was a bit more realistic than jumping out of a skyscraper window. Nobody has the balls to do that, even if you think you'll be rescued by Superman.

  • this scene is awesome

i never sougth it in the real film.

  • @Schabbbe

Not necessarily, as strong heat concentrations generate movement in the particles they span. You'd likely see a small vortex form (a series of vorticies). Maybe not red beams as in a laser if he's ONLY generating heat. However, we aren't sure exactly what source of power he's using to project the heat. If it's a high-energy plasma which he emits from his eyes, plasma being a super-heated gas, then we'd see something like those red beams.

  • @felix3322 maybe his glasses have no lenses. only frames
