New platform 4 opens at Reading 31/12/11. Who took the canopy away?

The new platform 4 opens at Reading station on 31/12/11. The canopy has disappeared from platforms 5&6 (previously 4A & 4B).
A blue diesel multiple unit departs for Redhill & Gatwick Airport from platform 4. Then a service from Waterloo enters platform 4 + another Waterloo service departs from platform 6.
