570 people in one connection. damn. talk about bandwidth. no wonder it didn't work. my networks slows down with 2 computers an xbox and a phone.

That kind of usage on networks can be hard to predict. The best solution would have been for Apple to rent an entirely separate WAN connection from whatever the best ISP was around the venue, and have it temporarily installed. Install a secure wireless access point to the stage connected to that WAN line and only authorize devices that will be used during the demo. Tamper proof and dedicated bandwidth. Problem solved!
