The Salvos - Cruel Sea - Live at Glastonbury

THE SALVOS , were formed in1960 in SOMERSET UK, fo 5 years they were the areas leading ROCK N ROLL band, winning acclaim from promoters and audiences throughout the West,. They won several local and national Rock Contests . In 2004 they were heavily featured in BARRY SOWDENS, book OH NO ITS LOCAL ROCK N ROLL BUT I LIKE IT. and were asked to play at the book launch. THE SALVOS REFORMED with the original line up BRIAN MAPSTONE guitar, MIKE ARGENT lead guitar, NIKO PONSILLO bass, JOHN LACEY drums, and RON FELLOWS ( EDDY DARK) as vocalist.. in 2006 BRIANS son SIMON MAPSTONE, joined THE SALVOS on keyboards. This film was shot at GLASTONBURY, AT THE FINAL APPEARANCE OF eddy dark, who has left the band. THE SALVOS, will continue as a 5 piece, with vocals supplied by NIKO and BRIAN. By the way, have you guys tried to play 'Walk dont run 64'.

I think the '64' version is much better than their first version.
