.....express slot off, hdd indexing, and cpu speed. These settings gave me about a additional 45 minutes of battery life. Also at idle, with wireless on, integrated, and 10% brightness, the laptop was only drawing 9 to 10 watts. If I turned everything low, it was only sipping 7-8 watts. Make sure your not running windows areo or sidebar in addition to any useless programs or processes running in the background.
