Here is another circuit that acts as an SEC Exiter.
It's running off a AA battery using around 9.5 mA.
It needs to be tuned better it's crudely assembled on a breadboard.

More info at the energeticforum under Joulethief SEC exiter and variants.

  • Hi,

This is probably a stupid question, but what is an av plug and how do you make it?

    Thanks!

  • @alexbeetle12

The AV plug was just two 1n4148 diodes. The two diodes are connected togeather facing in opposite directions. The open end of the diodes makes a negative and positive for the leds or other loads.

  • WAIT!!! did I just see current REDUCE upon load? some of my profs would be kinda pissed. I gotta give this circuit a try

  • @GraffixWB

    Yes you did.

In my newer videos I show a newer improved circuit.

  • This is great. ( I missed it somehow. )

I will try it with a single AA now. Thanks!

  • Thanks Jeanna.

I have a couple newer videos that show even a simpler exiter circuit.

  • Thanks Jonny.

I can't wait to see what you can do with it.

  • Nice circuit Slayer. The field looks very strong and the circuit easy to make.i will have to try this to.Great stuff.jonny

  • Even the multimeter slows it down. Mine is 1450v initial, and 800v with the meter attached clipped to the leads, settles in. I see thin hairline sparks when touching the hot with my finger.

  • @jesslessthemess

Most of the time the current intake will go down when it's under load.

But some times it will go up also.
