@schatzi333221 FFVII: Last Order. It's part of the VII Compilation, and to my knowledge, the only thing anime in Final Fantasy.

5:43... oh sweet jesus

@StarlightDragon This music is the heart of FF VII. It's quite safe to say this theme is one of the major elements of the entire game which brought so much success to it. This game is not really sad, but cold like the air is, just after the moment when the rains stops. Melancholia, poverty, hope, death, friendship and love... These are the main ingredients of FFVII for me.

Is this from an anime...? I had no idea that FF had it's own anime... O-O???
-
@megaknightz Yup, although Cloud finally got his own unique theme in Advent Children, called Cloud Smiles (also written by Uematsu).

If it makes you sad, that's because it's just a beautiful piece. Good music can do that, this is very affecting imo

This song ain't sad...at the start it's filled with happiness, joy, a pleasant atmosphere. Later on it becomes mysterious, it's more serious and sounds how can I say it...evil or something, like something is hidden under the happy side of it...then it becomes pleasant again, even more pleasant than the first 4 mins

@oIGinIo Both

Cloud's theme or Final Fantasy VII main theme ?
I'm confused

Final Fantasy games made me appreciate classical music:P
Cloud is a great unique hero because hes not a perfect one and what i mean by that is he's not always sure of himself even though he has the greatest potential out of everyone

why the fuck do people consider this a sad song? People always consider orchestrated songs I love as sad. To me it inspires a completely different emotion. Of wonder and passion. Not to say that sadness isn't infused with passion for those who listen to this song. But to me it is almost happy and inspiring.
