This is a simple test of interoperability between Windows Movie Maker and Cinelerra. My friend malevolentjelly first made the video in WMMv3 and exported it as a high-quality WMV. He handed the file off to me, and I ran it through ffmpeg to make a high quality (qscale=2) MPEG-4 MOV file. I then fed this file into Cinelerra and mangled it further into what you see here. There was some degradation from re-encoding it several times, but it's honestly barely noticeable for something you would put on the web, anyway. Yes, it's full of gratuitous effects, and no, we're not sorry. :P
