The swans you see on this video are one pair of the eight Trumpeter Swan captive breeding pairs in Jackson, Wyoming. The program is run by the Wyoming Wetlands Society.
Swans produced from our captive breeding program are released annually in specific restoration sites. Previous releases in parts of Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana have resulted in establishing nesting populations. Currently, the restoration efforts have expanded to include Oregon and other parts of Montana and Idaho.
