I see no evidence from this clip that they actually performed on Countdown. Usually the guests from overseas "guest programmed" the show or had a live audience of kids in front of them with the famous Countdown coloured globe sign somewhere in the background.

Sometimes if a band wasn't avaialbale for the
the saturday tapings in Melbourne they would do a studio shoot without audience on another day or i'm guessing in another city like Sydney
