@zezeoli Yep your right. There has been many great achievements from all sorts of manager but as a forest fan i'm naturally a bit biased. No disrespect intended towards any other managers.

@acedabcdef You're right there, but what about being 2nd with Leiria (when he left for Porto), winning back to back UEFA competitions with Porto, beating all point records in Portugal, winning a Champions League to be the only team to stop Barca from winning 3 straight Champions with a bunch of old guys who haven't won a title since... I agree that Clough did the impossible thrice and I prefer him to Mourinho (I'm actually Portuguese) because he stayed in the same club always...

mourinho is a great maanger as was clough but i would say clough winning the top league in their first season their was a much bigger acheivment than chelsea winning it.

Cloghie owned Motson, to the point where Motty looks uncomfortable...comparing Mourinho tp Clough, the only real comparison between them is that are very arrogant and good at it, Mouronho I think is quite charming when he wants to be as was Cloughie...RIP CLOUGH AND TAYLOR

I am convinced that Brian Clough was more than capable of leading England to World Cup Glory during the inter 1974-1986 years. Not to begrudge all of Cloughies club successes, or Revie, Greenwood and Robson.., but just imagine! The man was a Genius, at his peak he was in the top one.. x
