There is no denying that three years ago magic was created, although a lot can change in three years. A lot of people said that these men simply don't have it anymore. That some were down the line they lost that desire, that hunger, that passion that defined themselves. That they went corporate, moved on to greater ventures, or they had simply forgotten. Forgotten the series of miraculous saves form Steven Horne, the pin point through balls by Ben Taylor, the majestic overhead kicks from James Howes, the unique surges of pace from Matthew Blackall, Patrick Allen executing a footballing clinic or Glenn Stemens razor sharp finishes. These men established that there were great. These men had proved that although goal posts maybe stronger than flesh, it is not stronger than sprit. A dozen of the greatest men ever to grace the sacred grounds and the they make you proud that your in this business. One thing remains true don’t worry about the shell of a man turning up, worry about the men walking towards that field like only they can, putting on a game only they can. The culmination of 19 years, the Field of Dreams reunion, where it all begins. Again.
