thanks i will have to look into, i personally feel the doing snatches to improve the snatch is the best approach for me atm, i can look into assistance exercises after i reach my optimum level of strength where i don't feel i can go heavier, then i will bring in the assistance stuff. thank you very much.

Hi, where's your training center? The 107.5 was great, I know you ended up lifting more but that was the best of them IMO

Good lifting Walter! I think 125kg snatch is on the cards soon.

very consistent positions
your pull with 115k looks pretty easy, too
is this a typical training day for you or do you do doubles/triples, etc.

what would you recommend as an assitance exercise to th snatch, power clean could work as one or would you say to leave out th assistance training and just work on the core exercise itself.

It depends on a lot of things, your skill level and what you want to work on. Power snatches are good if you know how to properly do them. If you are having trouble dropping in to a full bottom position, then I probably wouldn't recommend power lifts, you would probably want to do drop snatches, or full snatches from the hang etc. You have to evaluate what you want to work on, then decide the assistance exercise. Also, just doing snatch to improve your snatch isn't a bad idea either...
