@lukeous69 One must ask himself, What is the first day of the week, It is not Sunday, it is Saturday, you can look at the calendar we use today and prove that fact, YAHWEH never named any days but one,(Sabbath) or seventh day of the week. and you cant get three days and three nights from Fri. to Sun. for the sign given by Jonah, he was in the belly of the whale for three days and 3 nights, YAHSHUA was crusifide on Wed. and rose on the even of the Sabbath (Sat) in the grave for 3 days and 3 night

A website is offering US$1,000,000 to anyone who can convincingly demonstrate from the Scriptures that the seventh-day Sabbath has ever been recorded in the Bible to have fallen on any other date, besides 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of each month. Or in other words someone that can disprove LUNAR SABBATH basing on the scriptures. Wise, intelligent, know-it-all people, rabbis, pastor, the great men are welcome!!!

@MichaelJonahRood from the JEWISH ENCYCLOPEDIA: "With the development of the importance of the Sabbath as a day of consecration and the emphasis laid upon the significant number seven, the week became more and more divorced from its lunar connection . . . . (Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, Vol. X, "Week," p. 482.)

@MichaelJonahRood Well, who made the JEWISH ENCYCLOPEDIA? why do we see things like this there?
"The New Moon is still, and the Sabbath originally was, dependent upon the lunar cycle . . . Originally, the New Moon was celebrated in the same way as the Sabbath; gradually it became less important while the Sabbath became more and more a day of religion and humanity, of religious meditation and instruction, of peace and delight of the soul. (Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, "Holidays," p. 410.)

@MichaelJonahRood From the things you said: The Scripture also provides support for the notion "there is no God" (Psalm 14:1): Is this the verse that you mean? Do you ever understand this verse?
"The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.
The scripture never supports the notion "THERE IS NO GOD"

@MichaelJonahRood The oracles were committed to ISRAEL not JEWS alone.There are 12 tribes, one tribe is called JUDAH where the term "Jews" come from. When ISRAEL came out of Egypt other slaves went out with them, and maybe other Egyptians too. And besides, so what if it were purely ISRAEL during those time the oracle happened, Gentile or JEW, is YHWH racist to chose only JEWS if Gentiles wanted to seek for truth?

@lukeous69 NEITHER
I'm not sure about that Mr. Rood but I cannot agree with you in this thing. I respect his teachings, I really do, I learned a lot from his videos. But I believe in the lunar Sabbaths and it can be supported by Scripture.

@missuswrinkle The Scripture also provides support for the notion "there is no God" (Psalm 14:1). There was never a lunar Sabbath until gentiles invaded the Messianic movement and solved the biggest problem of all: How to become important by inventing something new that the world has never heard of before - and how can we disprove that "the oracles of God were committed to the Gentiles" (Romans 3:1,2)

Ha! Caught ya! The oracles were committed to the Jews - not the Gentiles. And for a good reason - watch the 2.5 hour production: The Great Secret of Solomon's Temple.

Matthew's gospel was written in Hebrew.
