so the fuzz is from the guitar not the amp or a pedal?

that is an impressive sound, great sustain. what RS version is it? Phase - pickup combination? I have long wondered about the fuzz unit that Brian fitted then removed. Did you put the fuzz unit together yourself, or is it a kit?
