Ladies: I too wish you had seen my message first, before giving Carson & Barnes your money and supporting such abuse. Please tell EVERYONE you know to NOT go to any circus with animals. They are all the same (no matter what they lie-- I mean say) as they all use pain, fear and domination to make animals do unnatural tricks for clueless people, and imprison them in ridiculously inadequate cages and trucks the rest of the time.
Why they are not outlawed yet is beyond me. (India just banned them)

Wished I had seen your message BEFORE I went today. I saw Chip Arthurs hit one of his elephants in the ribs today - because he didn't get up quick enough - and the elephant groaned in pain.
If the damn bullhook is needed to get these elephants to do those acts that they are not ergonomically designed to do, then ban USING these elephants from circus entertainment! The circus will be just fine without it.

Carson & Barnes circus has an abysmal record of animal abuse. The elephants are beaten and trained with domination and fear, and live horrible lives in cages and on the road. Please don't support them with your money; if you MUST go, observe how the elephants are treated, and look closely at their legs-- you will see many wounds from the handlers' bullhooks.
Trust me, you'll regret going. Google them if you're still not sure.
