Who needs a radio when you have a Pontiac engine singing beutifull music?
-
Um this guy needs to stop saying stuff like "GM muscle" and "Hot Rod tricks from GM". Pontiac was the only GM brand with the balls to do this. This is all Pontiac. I Pontiac was given more leash in the 60s it would still be around and kicking everyone's ass. You can take that to the bank!

Simply jaw dropping. Don't lean on it.

We need cars like this built today with the same standards and quality as the originals. Today's cars are just so plain and boring and overly electronic.

@CORVAIRWILD Pontiac only said 405 hp so it would pass GM's inspection ;) sucks that now a GM rep sits in at the dyno tests :(
Just stumbled accross this. THANK you and the owner of the car for lighting it up. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... (Need more W's!). What a sound!! Mmmm.... Love It!!

Pontiac Claimed it only had 405 HP. but if you took a new one of these to the dyno, it would read about 460HP.

1962 Pontiac Catalina 421 SD, driven by Jim Wangers, did 1/4 mile in 12.38 seconds. 1963 Pontiac built around 12 or more Pontiac Tempest Lemans 421 Super Duty cars, with new Power Shift race tranny. Some of these new Tempest were station wagons, better traction. Arnie Beswick blew away all the new 1964 426 HEMIS, new Ford ThuderBolts 427s and what ever, with a 1963 Tempest Lemans 421 SD 2 door, a 1963 Pontiac Tempest Station Wagon and Swiss Cheese Catalina, way to go Arnie ! 421 SD , LEGENDARY !

@JusticeYouWant2010 You man, know your facts! I can't afford any Pontiacs on my wish list currently. They are, in no specific order... 1965 GTO, 1965 Bonneville or Catalina. All of couse with a Tri Power and 4 speed. Convertible or hardtop. I saw two beee-uteeful 65's at the next Musclepalooza, both owned by same fellow. I vidded him leaving the event. One lite yellow, one Iris Mist, (Evening Orchid, Chevy color too!) I've got a late 50's Corvette on the list too, and a 409, and ....
