Will it come off if you just heat it with a torch a bit?

Is the bike that you took off the derailer cable bikes a tokyobike? The headbadge looks like it's a tokyobike

How do you cut off the shift levers?
Cause I've seen one with screws.

@ianjk you're talking about me like I'm not even in the room!!!
How embarrassing for you!
We posted this because we are aware people take braze-on's off frames, and it's better to do it properly then hack sawing in to the tubing and compromising the structural integrity of it.

@ShiftlessBastards Not embarrassing at all. The bond between braze-on and tube is pretty damn strong, hammering can deform/weaken the tube. Even if the frame isn't perfect, why not take an extra 10 seconds to cut/file/sand or hit with heat (carefully) instead of possibly compromising your frame? I'm not a pro framebuilder, but build custom bicycles and motorcycles and have seen/made enough mistakes to know that the easiest way (brute force) isn't always the best. Just my $.02
