Basically, my parents weren't around for my 18th birthday party and I'd expect my kid wouldn't want me around either. That's one big difference there between me and MIKMA.

I wouldn't deem Hooters a drunken debauchery or nothing. The one near here has a sport's bar atmosphere with tv's everywhere, but you can get a steak dinner there too.

That's me justifying it. See, my wife would kill me if I was ever caught in "that damn titty bar".

As long as the kid knows right and wrong and is mature enough.. I see it this way from a son's point of view.
