Deuxvolt - God of Himself

"Why my eyes hurt?".... "You never used them before".... with this quote from The Matrix, a vision on a possible future of humanity opens. This song is a tribute to the writer George Orwell and to his work "1984". It describes a society and a future not so far away, where people are completely surveilled, controlled, manipulated by a political faction. Every fact revealing the fallibility of the faction itself are periodically and systematically erased or replaced; history no longer exists unless it supports the reasons of the ones who detain power. A strong will of rebellion to this submission remains: the only way to be masters of one's destiny, to become God of one's self.
